{"id":338,"date":"2026-05-01T11:06:25","date_gmt":"2026-05-01T11:06:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsonginmyheart.com\/?p=338"},"modified":"2026-05-01T11:06:25","modified_gmt":"2026-05-01T11:06:25","slug":"the-answers-to-my-prayers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsonginmyheart.com\/?p=338","title":{"rendered":"The answers to my prayers"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The road I\u2019m on was once a prayer,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Begging at the feet of Jesus for what is now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I prayed for opportunity,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A relationship with God,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For my heart to soften,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For my life to count for Jesus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The answer came,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But not without the potter molding the clay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I found myself on a journey,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One that broke me in every way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I didn\u2019t know it then,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But God used the rawness<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To answer each request.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I first had to be broken,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Before I could soften.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I had to be lonely,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Before I started seeking God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I had to understand pain,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Before my life could count.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When my Heavenly Father refined me,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That\u2019s when prayers were answered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So, I look back on where I came from and see,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That I\u2019m living the answers to my prayers.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The road I\u2019m on was once a prayer, Begging at the feet of Jesus for what is now.
