As I hurry about a busy day, my mind goes back to exactly 1 year ago. My heart was so raw from my world crashing down, and I had emotions I couldn\u2019t name. I could tell the story, could point fingers, but today, it\u2019s not about being the victim in the story. Instead, I praise God for taking me out of an abusive situation. I praise Him for being there when the tears were endless, when the anxiety attacks were constant. He was there, when no one else was. He took a moment that broke me and used it to bring me closer to Him. When the busy schedule was taken away, that\u2019s when the Lord told me to do the one thing that time wouldn\u2019t allow before. blogging. \u201cNew Song In My Heart\u201d ladies group was born through a raw, broken point in my life. God took something hard and used it for my good and His glory. What started as a Facebook group, grew into a blog, and recently Instagram.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I share a part of my story to encourage you, to remind you, even in the storm, the moments that bring you down to your knees, the Lord knows, He cares, and He\u2019s working even in the hardest of times.
